It is updated every 6 hours by Met Office forecasters in Exeter. It includes a description of the general weather situation for the UK.
• Shipping Forecast for sea areas Portland and Plymouth from the Met Office. It includes gale warnings and is updated four times a day by forecasters at the Met Office. An extended outlook a further 2 days ahead for Niton (which includes sea areas Portland and Plymouth) is updated daily at 1800 GMT.
• Teignmouth Surf Report and Foreast from Magicseaweed. Although automatically generated this does contain occasional local surf reports added by surfing enthusiasts.
