STATION DETAILS

The Sittingbourne climate station opened on 1st January 1985 and operated until February 2010. The site was located in the south-east corner of the town (lat 51'19.9N, long 00'44.7E & OS Grid Ref TQ 9124 6284) and is approximately 23m above mean sea level. Observations were taken at approximately 0900GMT daily.
